If using Mapquest or Google Map Search we recommend using Glenville NC as your target, not Cullowhee NC.

From Atlanta
Take I-85N from Atlanta.
North of Atlanta it will fork and take I-985, which will eventually become Hwy 23N/441.
Follow this Hwy through Dillard, GA. Just above Dillard you will cross into North Carolina. In about 15 miles you will come to Franklin, N.C.
At the 2nd stoplight (just past Shoney's and at the Lowe's sign) take a right onto the by-pass ramp (sign - 23N/441 Bypass/64 East) and follow for about 2-3 miles. Exit right onto the ramp for Hwy. 64 East. At the end of the ramp, take at right towards Highlands.
Continue on 64 for exactly 6 miles and take a left onto Walnut Creek Rd. This begins your trek up the mountain. At the top you will cross the County Line into Jackson County. This road then becomes Pine Creek Rd. (same road different name).
Continue down the mountain for 3 miles to a stop sign. Bear Left to stay on Pine Creek Rd and go for aproxamitely 1 mile and take a left onto Cullowhee Mountain Road.
Take Cullowhee Mtn Rd. for 1/2 mile and the driveway to the home is on the left. There is a purple mailbox marked 9318 as well as reflector numbers on the gate post.
From Eastern NC
From I-40. Look for the exit marked - to Western Carolina University (around the Waynesville NC area).
You will go through Sylva and pass WCU on HWY 107 South towards Cashiers NC.
The Glenville area is before reaching Cashiers about 12-15 miles from WCU.
Take a right turn on Pine Creek Rd ( directly across from a business named Brysons and just past a boat storage area.
If you come to a BP station you have gone too far.
Follow Pine Creek Rd for 4-5 miles, continue over the Lake Glenville spillway.
Take a right turn on Cullowhee Mt. Rd. about 2-3 miles past the spillway. Follow Cullowhee Mt. Rd. for about 1/2 mile and the house is on the left marked 9318 on the mailbox and on the gate post at the entrance to the driveway. You cannot see the house until pulling into the driveway.
Directions: Shortest Route to Highlands, N.C. From 9318 Cullowhee Mtn. Rd.
From Driveway – right turn down mountain, 6/10 of a mile to stop sign.
At stop sign, turn right onto Pine Creek Rd for about ½ mile – to a fork in the road
At fork, bear left onto North Norton Rd for about 4 miles to an intersection with Norton Rd.
At intersection take a severe right turn onto Norton Rd.
Continue on Norton Rd to a “T”, and turn right at the stop sign onto Hwy 64 which takes you to downtown Highlands.
