Lake Glenville - 1/2 Mile Down Mtn
The lake is 6 miles long with 26 miles of shore line fed by 3 waterfalls which can be veiewed by boat. Average depth is 100 feet and at 3500 feet in elevation, it is the highest man made lake this side of the Rockies. To traverse the shoreline by boat to see the wateralls (2 are viewed below) and the beautiful homes, plan on spending at least 2 hours. The Islands as noted in the photo are great for picnics and swimming. Rental boats are available at Signal Ridge Marina by the hour. Signal Ridge tel....828-743-2143. If you are bringing your own boat, kyack or canoe, the free public boat ramp is only 1/2 mile from our home.
